TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — A SpaceX launch in Cape Canaveral brought Tampa Bay a strange “cloud” Wednesday morning.

Noctilucent clouds formed after the SpaceX Starlink launch which happened around 5:52 a.m.

“These are upper-atmosphere clouds made up of ice crystals that are so high they are able to reflect sunlight, giving them that epic glow!” Max Defender 8 Meteorologist Juliana Meija said.
